Hello ...
Having just found a link to your page I went to Atchison Co., KS to check it out.
I was surprised and pleased to find my aunt, Emma Higley, listed as teacher for St. Nicholas.
I was checking because she was once the teacher for Stony Point, too. I had the joy of her taking me to that site and talking about it. Of course the school is gone, but it didn't prevent her from making me a student and walking through part of her history.
