I just surfed into the Kansas schools pages at http://www.kansasheritage.us/orsh/schools.htm and have an addition to this.Attached please find a photo of my grandfather, Fred E Jones, Sr. born 1898 in Reserve, Brown, Kansas.
If I can read the photo correctly it says District 29 Ida Dawson school.
The arrow at the bottom points to my grandfather. He looks about 8 years old so I guess the photo was taken about 1904.
